Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of KiddoTube, a service provided by 12N Labs ("KiddoTube", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use KiddoTube.

1. Who can use KiddoTube

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child whose profile you create. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for the channels and settings you approve.

2. What KiddoTube does

KiddoTube is a curation and trust layer for kids' video. You build a whitelist of approved channels, our AI evaluates channels and content, and your child watches a curated feed. KiddoTube does not host the underlying videos; content is provided by third-party platforms such as YouTube, TikTok and Instagram and remains owned by those platforms and their creators.

3. AI checks are guidance, not a guarantee

Our AI scores channels and content to help you decide. It is a tool to assist your judgment and may be imperfect. You remain in control: you can approve, reject or override any verdict. KiddoTube does not guarantee that all content reaching a child profile is appropriate, and you are responsible for the channels you approve.

4. Subscriptions, trial & billing

• Paid plans (Basic, Family or Pro) are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions through in-app purchase on the Apple App Store, at the price shown at the time of purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account on confirmation of purchase.
• New subscriptions may include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends, unless stated otherwise at purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for periods already started. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.

5. Third-party platforms

Your use of features that rely on YouTube is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Use of TikTok and Instagram content is subject to those platforms' own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their content.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, access it without authorization, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual property

KiddoTube, its software, branding and design are owned by 12N Labs. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the service as intended.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, 12N Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

You may stop using KiddoTube and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if required to protect the service or other users.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Apple App Store

If you download KiddoTube from the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and 12N Labs only, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. You also agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement; where these Terms conflict with it, the minimum terms of that agreement apply. Any maintenance, support and warranty obligations are ours, not Apple's. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
